John Krasinski is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer from Massachusetts. Krasinski started acting in sixth grade when he appeared in a production of the play Annie. In university he studied theatre and graduated in 2001. He made his first film appearance in 2000 in the film Thirteen days playing an uncredited part. His first television appearance was in an episode of Ed in 2003. Over the years he involved himself in various parts of television and film production such as filming, writing, and directing. He rose to fame with his role in the series The Office, and had his first hit as a director with 2018's A Quiet Place. He is also the star of the Amazon series, Jack Ryan.
