Notes from the Rep Biz - 1-25-2019

At CAA:
 
R&B legend Ciara and her husband, NFL star Russell Wilson, have signed with the agency. She will be repped by Jenna Adler and Tracy Brennan.

Rapper Kevin Gates has signed with agent Mark Cheatham. His latest album, Luca Brasil 3, hit number four on the Billboard Hot 200.
 
CBS News correspondent David Begnaud has signed with Ali Spiesman. He regularly serves as an anchor on CBSN as well as CBS Weekend News.
 
Actor Shamier Anderson is a new signing for Tracy Brennan. He currently stars opposite Nicole Kidman in the cop drama Destroyer.

Lastly, the agency has also signed Emmy-nominated director Kahlil Joseph. He will be repped by Sue Carls

At UTA:
 
After a lengthy run at the agency, Channing Tatum has left amicably. He does not appear to be searching for additional representation at this time.

Additionally, the company has promoted a whopping eight agents to partner - Ophir LupuMark SubiasJacob FentonKen FermaglichSusan FoxBen JacobsonJohn Sacks, and Bec Smith. The total number of partners now stands at 66.  
 

At ICM Partners:
 
Actress Danielle Campbell has signed with agents Bonnie BernsteinSean Liebowitz, and Craig Shapiro. She can currently be seen on the CBS thriller Tell Me A Story.
 
 
Elsewhere:
 
Former UTA agent Veronica Gabriel has re-entered the representation business, joining Greene & Associates as a talent agent. She had left the industry back in 2014. 

CESD has partnered with Nu Talent Agency, and will rep their clients for commercials and endorsements. 
 
Actress Victoria Konefal has signed with agents Jason Hyman and Pietra Ingenito of TalentWorks.  
 
 
Management Notes:
 

Thirty Three Management has signed Italian filmmaker Mitzi Peirone as well as German writer-director Tilman Singer.
 
Channing Tatum has also left his longtime reps at Management 360 to go managerless. Best of luck to him in the future.

Actress Piercey Dalton, who just starred in the Netflix horror film The Open House, has signed with Emagine Content.
